Renewable Energy

Bare Naked Beauty is also an active investor in renewable energy. We directly invest (with your purchases!) a percentage of all profits in renewable energy companies (like Babcock & Brown Wind Partners and Energy Developments), and we also support any individuals or companies that are taking action in building a clean, green future. All Bare Naked offices run on Green Power.

Carbon Credits

Any of our business practices that can't be 100% sustainable are offset by way of purchasing carbon credits from Greenfleet. This is mainly used in postage. No extra fee is charged to our customers. Anything that is posted to us and anything that is posted off is accounted for, and at the end of the month the lovelies at Greenfleet plant more trees and do a little bush regeneration to help us make up for it!

Packaging

Our post-it boxes are made from 66% - 100% recycled cardboard. We protect your products with potato starch fill which is 100% bio-degradable within 2 months. All letters and invoices are printed double-sided on recycled paper. We aim to improve every aspect of our packaging as we go along...this is our priority.

Please re-use or recycle the packaging. Our post-it boxes are made so that they can be turned inside-out and re-used either as a post-it box, or to store your own treasures in (I keep photos in mine!). You may also think about ordering in bulk, or ordering with a friend to reduce packaging.

Australian Orangutan Project

We at Bare Naked Beauty are constantly working with our suppliers to ensure that all the brands we stock are as ethical as possible and are, or on the road to, using sustainable resources of palm oil. We participate in the Orangutan adoption program as well as donate a percentage of our profits to the Australian Orangutan Project, a non-profit, volunteer organisation who work hard to ensure a future for these wonderful beings.

Buying Local

Bare Naked Beauty believes that buying local does more than reduce negative impact on the natural environment and local communities. Local companies know exactly how to make premium skin care ranges suited to the harsh, Australian environment, as well as for it's wonderful multi-racial population! Many of our products contain local native ingredients, and are locally sourced to ensure only the best quality ingredients go into your skin care. Nothing could work better, cleaner, or more synergistically than Australian skin care for your skin!
