Beginning in 1987, Will Evans began manufacturing personal hair and skin care products. Eventually, 10 years later and after an increasing demand for natural products, he founded The Purist Company, creating both the Al’chemy (1994) and A’kin (2002) ranges in Katoomba, in the heart of the Blue Mountains. Winners of numerous beauty awards, both A’kin and Al’chemy use 100% natural botanical based aromatherapy botanicals, use certified organic ingredients where possible and contain only sustainable palm oil. All products are vegan-friendly, Halal certifed and GMO-free.
